She & Him's new and first album is called Volume One. It is the project of the actress Zooey Deschanel and a BLR fav, M. Ward. Although M. only sings on a few tracks BLR is not disappointed at all. Zooey has a voice and singing style reminicent of Dusty Springfield. As it has been described around the WHUS it is teeth hurting sweet, which I am totally okay with.
